Jordan Elementary second-grade students time-traveled to bring several historical figures to life during their wax museum project.

On Thursday, March 10, students dressed up as their subject and designed a poster board frame with facts, background information and fun details. The students shared their projects with their families, who were invited to walk around and see the different figures represented. Families heard from Walt Disney, Sally Ride, Babe Ruth, Rosa Parks and more.

"I like space, and I knew Sally Ride was the first American woman to go into space," said JES student Kendall Foster. "My favorite part was researching her and making the poster. I loved learning about her."
