Students Enjoy Summer at Encore Camp

Cooking, spa days and more were a daily part of some elementary-aged students' summers as they enjoyed Encore camps around the county.

Encore is a summer enrichment program that offers classes in arts and crafts, sports, cooking and exploration. Students choose which classes interest them and rotate throughout the day.

"These exciting opportunities bring a lot of smiles and laughter for both students and staff," said Oak View Elementary teacher Mindy Cushenberry. "It is such a fun week. We are looking forward to offering it again next summer!"

Encore camps were not held at every elementary school in the district. The gallery above includes photos from Jordan, Kenrose, Oak View and Scales elementary schools.
