Administrators at Scales Elementary had a fun, engaging way to welcome their teachers back into the building.

On August 1, SES Principal Drew Perry and Assistant Principal Jaimee Dresdner challenged their staff to an '80s-themed scavenger hunt, complete with neon sweatbands. Teachers were split into teams based on grade level and had to follow clues and answer questions. Bonus points were awarded to teams that took a creative picture when they found each question.

"With new administrators and the number of new teachers we have at Scales, we wanted to do some fun team building," said Dresdner. "We thought this would be a great way for teachers to find their way around our school and have a blast while doing so. Based on the wonderful pictures and feedback from teachers, it was a complete success. Everyone came back with a huge smile on their face."
