The second annual WCS Mini Golf Tournament took place August 25 at SOAR Adventure Tower in Franklin. This event serves as the official kickoff for Coordinated School Health's (CSH) mini golf program, which rewards elementary students for good grades and behavior.

Students who achieve a letter grade of “A” in any one subject on their report card or are recognized by a staff member earn a free game of mini golf. Kindergarten and first graders who receive a "3" or an "S" in any area of their report cards will also earn a free game. More information about the program is available on the CSH page of the district website.

At the event, the elementary schools competed against one another to see which school could record the lowest score. Each team was comprised of a school principal or assistant principal and two students chosen by the administrators. Clovercroft Elementary School won the tournament with a low score of 147 and was awarded a trophy to keep for the year.
