More than 1,000 Ravenwood High students took part in the annual homecoming parade on Friday, September 30.

In addition to the high school students, several of Ravenwood High's feeder schools also participated in the parade. This year's theme was Game On, so many of the floats were modeled after video games or board games.

"The students went all out decorating their floats," said RHS teacher Stephanie Dykes. "Each class built an elaborate float, some including moving parts and smoke. Over the years, our parade has evolved from being a small project to becoming a community event that brings hundreds of people together to celebrate Ravenwood's school spirit, pride and culture. With celebrating our 20th birthday this year, we can't wait to see what the future holds for us."

The Ravenwood High Raptors went on to defeat Summit High 35-7 during the varsity football game.
