Summit High's homecoming parade had the city of Spring Hill feeling Spartan pride Friday, October 21.

In addition to the parade, the school hosted a powder puff game, a pep rally, a homecoming dance and more to get spirits up for the big game.

"I think this was one of best homecomings I can remember," said SHS Principal Sarah Lamb. "The student participation and support were amazing. Our pep rally was in the commons on Friday and allowed all students to attend. The dance was huge, and we sold over 900 tickets. Our parents really helped out with food at float sites and while decorating for the dance. It was a fabulous week."

Summit High's varsity football team went on to defeat Shelbyville Central 48-0 that evening.
