Library & Technology Resources

The media center has a wide variety of materials available to students and staff. The library houses more than 11,000 books both fiction and nonfiction. Learning good library skills and computer access encourages a strong literacy foundation.

The mission of the Bethesda Library is to share the love and importance of reading and learning to assess and navigate different information resources proficiently.

The library will have open checkout from 8:50 a.m.- 11:35 a.m. and also from 12:10 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.

Please limit one student per class except on their scheduled library day.

Books that have not surfaced in 30 days are presumed to be lost. An overdue bill with the cost of replacing the book will be sent home. Checkout privileges are suspended until arrangements are made to remit payment for the lost book/s.

Please return damaged books to the library for repair. The Library Media Specialist will assess the severity of the damage.  Books that are deemed damaged beyond repair must be replaced. A damage bill with replacement costs will be sent home. We will only accept payment for the damaged book, not a replacement copy.  Checkout privileges are suspended until arrangements are made.

Please note that should a page accidentally rip, please return your book to the library and we will repair the page with special tape.
