A Message from Dr. Garrett
I am honored to serve as Principal of Chapman’s Retreat. I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but have lived in Nashville, TN for 29 years. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, my Master’s in Special Education from West Texas State University, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. I have worked in the field of Education as a teacher, supervisor, coordinator, program director, assistant principal, and principal in Wisconsin, Texas, and Tennessee.
Chapman’s Retreat Elementary School is a community where teachers, parents, and volunteers work together to provide our students with enriching and rigorous learning opportunities, state of the art technology, and an environment that facilitates curiosity and collaboration.
I am committed to making sure that every student at Chapman’s Retreat receives the instruction and support they need to grow and reach their potential. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your questions, suggestions, or concerns. My door is always open to you and your children. Go Cheetahs!
