• Overview of Our Schools

    In the 2020 – 2021 school year, WCS served more than 42,000 P-K - 12 students at 49 school sites. Individual school websites are maintained by the school webmaster. There are 49 schools: 10 high schools, 10 middle schools, 28 elementary schools, one K-8 school. The district’s graduating class of 2019 posted an ACT composite score of 25.3, which is well above the State’s average composite score of 20. WCS ranks first in Tennessee among districts with more than one high school.

  • Kindergarten Registration

    Families registering their child for Kindergarten need to visit the Student Enrollment/Registration page for necessary documents and instructions for online enrollment. If this is your first child in WCS, please select the top box and follow those instructions. If you have another child or other children who attend a school in WCS, please select the second toggle and follow those instructions.

    Please note: A child entering kindergarten shall be no less than five (5) years of age on or before August 15 of the current year.
