Williamson County Schools (WCS) is one of two public school districts located in Williamson County, Tennessee. WCS continues to be a leader in the State in academic achievement.
WCS has approximately 41,500 students enrolled in Pre-K - 12 for the 2021-2022 school year. There are 51 schools: 11 high schools, 11 middle schools, 27 elementary schools, and two K-8 schools. The district’s graduating class of 2021 posted an ACT composite score of 24.9, which is well above the State’s average composite score of 19.1. WCS ranks first in Tennessee among districts with more than one high school.
