The Page Middle School Athletic Department and sports teams model the vision and expectations of Williamson County Schools.
Our goals are:

As Panther athletes, students will make a commitment to themselves, their teammates and the athletic program to follow the expectations of being an athlete. Page Middle offers a wide variety of sports in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Baseball
Grade Level:
All students (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) are encouraged to participate. Page Middle has a Junior Varsity Baseball team and a Varsity Baseball team.
Expectations:
Students are chosen for the team on the basis of their particular baseball skills. Players are rated based on hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, speed and hustle. They are also judged based on their sportsmanship, attitude and attention.

Basketball, Boys
Grade Level:
All students (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) are encouraged to participate. We have 3 boys basketball teams: 6th grade, junior varsity, and varsity.

Bowling
Grade Level:
All students, both boys and girls (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) are encouraged to participate.
Expectations:
Students should follow all rules and guidelines given to them by their Coach, Page Middle School administrators, as well as the Williamson County School Board. Students who have a desire to play Panther Bowling should have knowledge of the game and some experience.

Congratulations to the 2023-2024 sideline cheerleaders! Athlete numbers are in numerical order for each team below:

Levels:
Our cheerleading squads welcome anyone who is a rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader to join us! We currently have 3 cheer squads at Page Middle School: Football sideline, Basketball sideline and Wrestling sideline.
Expectations:
It is the expectation of all Panther Cheerleaders to follow all rules and guidelines set by every coach, administrator, and the Williamson County Board of Education. We hold our squads to a higher standard of excellence and strive to be the best we can in academics, arts, and athletics. Those trying out for sideline cheer are judged on cheers, dances, chants, tumbling, spirit, technique and presence. Tumbling is not required for tryouts, but extra points are earned.

Cross Country
Grade Level: All students (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) are encouraged to participate.

Dance
Grade Levels
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are encouraged to participate.
Expectations
The dance team consists of learning several dances to perform during halftime of the Page Middle Home Basketball Games.
Dance team practice runs from October to December. Performances start in January and run through the month of February.

Final Forms
Athletic Annual Physical Process
In order to be eligible to try out and participate in athletic programs or activities, all required athletic annual physical forms must be completed electronically through the online dashboard. This dashboard enables parents and students to complete required athletic forms electronically. For parents and students new to Williamson County Schools, access to the Finalforms Dashboard can be obtained by contacting the Page Middle athletic directors or coaches. Football
Football tryouts generally begin in mid-July. Practices and games will run until approximately October 1. There are two football teams at Page Middle. The Junior Varsity team consists of only 6th and 7th grade players. The varsity team consists of mostly 8th grade players.
Expectations:
Students interested in playing football should be prepared to practice in the heat and be willing learners of the game. Tryouts will consist of various non-contact and contact drills to decide the best players for the roster. While all players are not big, strong, and fast, there is no substitute for these intangibles. Our team has players of all sizes that strive to better themselves every day in practice. Competition for roster spots is competitive and fierce.
Tryouts:
Before students can tryout, they must upload a sports physical to Finalforms and the "parent" portion of Finalforms must be completed.

Golf
Golf requirements
Our golf program is for 6th,7th, and 8th grades. We have a boys' team and a girls' team.
Please be advised that golf at PMS is advanced and not for the beginner golfer.
Must haves:
Your own clubs, golf balls, and tees – Current Physical – no physical, no trying out. Wear a collared shirt – no jeans, cut off shorts or draw string shortsBoys interested in trying out must be able to shoot 45 or better consistently on a regulation 9 hole course. Girls interested in trying out must be able to shoot a 50 or better consistently on a regulation 9 hole course. The Little Course is not considered a regulation course.
The course that we play on is Cheekwood Golf Course, located at 285 Spencer Creek Road, Franklin, TN.

Page Middle Athletic Club (PAC)
PAC is dedicated to promoting student participation and fostering school spirit in all Page Middle School athletics. Monies raised by PAC go to supporting the athletic department with equipment purchases and other needs. PAC membership and sports passes can be purchased through the PAC Website or by contacting the Page Middle front office. Page Middle spirit wear can be purchased year round through the PAC website.

Expectations:
Students are chosen for the teams based on their fielding, hitting and pitching skills. Team work and attitude are also considered.

Grade Level:
All students (grades 6th, 7th, and 8th) are encouraged to play. We have three teams, which are 6th Grade, Junior Varsity, and Varsity.
Expectations:
All students are expected to follow all rules and guidelines given to them by their coaches, Page Middle Administrators, and the Williamson County Board of Education. Students should attend all practices with an attitude of learning and improving. They should have a good attitude at all times and treat others with respect. Students should have knowledge about volleyball and have playing experience.
