• A Brief History of Our School

Bethesda Elementary School has undergone many changes in the last few years. Much of this change is related to the growth of the Bethesda community. Since 1992 Bethesda has split four times to form four new schools. Oak View opened in 1994, Heritage Elementary opened in 1999, Chapman’s Retreat Elementary opened in 2003, and Thompson’s Station Elementary opened at the beginning of the 2018 school year. For the past few years Bethesda has added over 125 new students each year. Serving a Kindergarten through 5th grade population, the enrollment at Bethesda is approximately 599 students. Many new subdivisions are planned and being built for the Bethesda zone in the coming years. With the opening of Interstate 840 and the reputation of Bethesda and Williamson County Schools, we are expected to grow yearly.  Bethesda currently has students participating in 4-H, Student Council, and Chorus.

    The Bethesda Dragons

We are the Bethesda Dragons.  We support Bethesda: the community, the school, and the students. Our faculty and staff strive to make Bethesda the best it can be.  Bethesda provides strong academics as well as a sense of community in our classrooms and school.  We nurture each child to be the best version of themselves. As Bethesda Dragons we follow our Dragon Traits to show respect, responsibility, cooperation, and best effort in all that we do in and out of school.

  • Our Mission and Vision

The mission and vision statements for Bethesda Elementary were created by the staff to share with others the direction we, as a school, are headed.
