SOAR into Student Academic Achievement with a Free Game of Mini-Golf
Williamson County Schools (WCS) Coordinated School Health Program is proud to announce an exciting program with SOAR Adventure where students can earn a free game of mini-golf.
Elementary students have many opportunities this year to earn free games of mini-golf. Students who achieve a letter grade of “A” in any one subject on their report card and/or are recognized by a staff member earn a free game of mini golf to be redeemed any time before June 30, 2024 at SOAR Adventure in Franklin. This is also true for students in Kindergarten and first grade who receive either a “3” or an “S” in any area of their report card. Students will receive a "ticket" to take to SOAR Adventure to be redeemed for the free game. One parent or guardian must be with the student or group of up to 5 total students. Parents or guardians do not have to play if they do not want to, and there is no charge if they do not play. If they want to play, they can pay the adult fee and play along with the students. Students will have the opportunity to win up to up to 4 free games, one per grading period!

Chromebooks and Chargers
Here is an update about a Learning Commons equipment policy change from the Trinity Librarian, Ms. Limoli.
There is a significant increase in daily student requests for loaner Chromebooks and chargers as students are coming into school without charged computers. Unfortunately, the Learning Commons can no longer be issuing out loaner chargers for the day to students as the Learning Commons is running low and many of the chromebooks and chargers are not being returned.
However, if students need a Chromebook for a test or classroom assignment, students may borrow a loaner Chromebook for that class period only and students will be reminded that they are responsible for returning the Chromebook back to the Learning Commons as soon as the test/assignment is finished.
This change will be effective immediately and for the foreseeable future. Accidents happen; however, the Learning Commons provides media equipment to the entire school and need to make sure there are enough materials to continue to provide this support. In the spirit of promoting responsibility and independence, parents please continue to help your kiddos to charge their Chromebooks every night and bring them to school daily. Thanks for your support!
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

New Walking Path
Walking path parents-Please send how your student would get home incase of rain to their teacher.
Students using the path MUST be at the back gate by 8:35am. A TES staff member will open the gate at 8:35am, let in all the waiting students, and relock the gate. Students not at the gate in time will not be able to enter from the walking path.
The TES staff member will help students get their bikes on the rack and into the building safely.
Students will be dismissed through the gate around 3:50pm each day. TES is not responsible for students crossing roads throughout the park or adjacent neighborhoods.
*We must have a permission slip on all students on using the path.*

Child Find
Child Find is how Williamson County Schools identify students who may be having problems. This may include children who are gifted as well as students who have trouble seeing or hearing, need special education services, or need support to learn. It is important to find these children and give them the help they need as early as possible. For more information regarding child find, click here or call Student Support Services at 615-472-4130.
