• A Message from Our Principal

  • Dear Brentwood Middle Parents,

What an incredible Spirit Week we had at BMS! We had a great week participating in themed dress-up days each day. I loved the level of participation and school spirit that our students showed throughout the week. I want to give a shoutout to our band, cheer squads, and dance teams for performing so well in the pep rally and at the football game. Thank you, Erin Mason and Rowena Schimmel for organizing our Family Tailgate. We had a great evening with the food trucks on Thursday night. The Viking win versus Page Middle was the icing on the cake that evening. Finally, our students and faculty had a great time cheering on the Bruins at BHS during the Homecoming Parade. As I am writing this, I sure hope our moms and dads having middle schoolers and high schoolers, get some rest. It was a full week on our campus!

During this same week, I want to thank all of the BMS families who participated in Mission Possible. We reached our $90,000 fundraising goal by Wednesday of last week. In addition to meeting the fundraising goal, the PTO provided the best weather evening I have ever had for sleeping on the roof. Thank you to all of those who visited me that night and brought treats or shared treats with me while you visited. It was a fun night and a great capstone for a worthy cause.

This week we are looking forward to hosting the WMAA tournament for volleyball at BMS. We look forward to seeing our volleyball team compete! Best of luck to our golf team, tennis team, and football team as they finish up the season in either post-season or final regular season games. I want to wish our BMS cross country team the best of luck as well in the sectional cross country meet in Dickson on Friday afternoon!

On an academic note, stay tuned for a special email invitation to Parent University.
