Extracurricular
Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. To learn more about a club or activity, select the name in the drop down below.
Student led clubs are initiated, created, and led by students at each individual school campus where the club is active. A student who wishes to organize a non-school sponsored, student led club must obtain prior written consent from the school principal. These clubs are not governed by school officials, but a club monitor is present at the time of student led club meetings held on school campuses. Parents or legal guardians must complete and sign the permission form to participate in a student-led club before their child may participate.
Visit WCS Board Policy 6.702 for detailed guidelines and rules about school sponsored and student led clubs, activities and organizations. Parents or legal guardians must notify an administrator in writing if the student is not permitted to become a member or participate in any activities of a club or organization. Pursuant to state law, the written communication shall be signed and dated by the parent or legal guardian.
