Fairview Elementary School provides opportunities outside of school day for our students to continue to learn and grow.
The Fairview Elementary Chorus is comprised of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who are interested in improving their music reading skills and singing ability. The Chorus also focuses on cooperation, empathy, and discipline as we work to create a memorable experience for our audience. There are many performances throughout the year including PTO events, our Winter Concert, and the WCS Fine Arts Festival.
Crescendo combines singing with simple instrument parts to allow for a different performance experience.
Fairview Elementary is proud to be one of the county’s elementary schools that offers a foreign language program to interested students. Visit the county’s page for registration information.
Hoppin Hawks jump rope team is being offered this fall and will be offered to any 3rd thru 5th grader. Students will have fun learning cool tricks with a single rope, working in pairs, and double dutch skills. MRS. ARNOLD will be leading the team.
Our Science Technology Reading Engineering Art Math (STREAM) Team are before school enrichment classes that present select students with exciting and challenging real-world problems to solve. Students will engage in deep thinking, reasoning, investigation, teamwork, and be allowed to display their creativity during these “hands-on” activities. Mr. Bailey is our STREAM Team Coordinator.
