New Information for 8th Graders: The following information is needed for surpassing Art 1 and entering into Art 2 at FvHS.

Online Registration Opens Monday March 2nd for Returning WCS Students currently in grades K-11.Registration must be completed on a desktop computer using a Skyward login. A parent login must be used. When registering your child, look for the 2020-21 Registration Update for Returning area in Skyward. Registration takes place at the currently – enrolled school. If a child will attend a different school during the 2020-21 school year, that change will be visible in Skyward over the summer. When registering, be sure to fully complete each step and click submit to ensure registration is complete. A green check mark will appear in the righthand column of the registration window when all steps are complete. School is closed for WCS students tomorrow and Monday. All extracurricular activities, beginning tomorrow morning will be cancelled through Monday evening. All activities are scheduled to resume as normal on Tuesday. The school office/building will be closed both Friday and Monday.
Today’s event will proceed as originally scheduled unless otherwise noted.

Students- very important! The end of the grading period is approaching and we encourage you to use these extra days out of school to complete any assignments that are needed for the gradebooks! Again, don’t forget to bring home all necessary work to complete for the grading period- the building will be closed and you will not have access to return until Tuesday.

Art Club meeting for tomorrow will be rescheduled next week–once we are back to school.

Oddly Puddle rehearsal cancelled for today, tomorrow, and Monday.

FHS football lifts for 8th graders will be cancelled for tomorrow.

All 8th graders that received a Mamma Mia Invitation – See Dr. Boyet before leaving today.

8th grade Beta Club Members – If you haven’t already turned in your signed permission form for Tuesday’s field trip, be sure to bring it Tuesday morning.  You will not be able to participate in the field trip without a complete, signed permission form.  Thank you!

At this time, Fairview High will perform Mamma Mia this evening at 7pm. Come out and enjoy the show!

Home Opener for Falcons Varsity Baseball is this afternoon at 4:30pm! Good Luck Falcons! JV will practice at the ball fields. Ride Bus 19 if you need a ride today.

Softball Practice will take place at the ball fields today until 5pm. Bus 19 can take you to the park. Be ready to go at dismissal!

Track – @ the FHS Track until 4:15pm today. Rides need to arrive to pick you up at 4:15pm then head to FMS café. Mandatory parent meeting at 4:30 in café. It will not take long. Make sure you have appropriate clothing, shoes, and water with you for practice today!

Dance team- those preforming next week will need to attend practice today until 4:15pm. Dress out and report to the FHS football field. Practice will end at 4:15pm.

Soccer practice will take place this afternoon.

Homework Club is on as scheduled for today.

Eighth grade orchestra students: please take home your instruments and music so that you can record your playing tests for Ms. White. Again, all eighth-grade orchestra students need to take their instruments and music home to practice and record their playing tests.

Yearbooks! Students check with your parents to see if they have already ordered your yearbook! If they have not, remind them orders are due this week!! Cost is $40 cash or check. Bring orders to Mrs. Hughes in the office. Make checks payable to FMS. No additional yearbooks will be ordered after the deadline!

The March Madness Tournament of Books will begin next Tuesday.  Vote in the library for your favorite book.  For more information, see Ms. Kuykendall or Mrs. Hughes.

Current 6th & 7th Graders Only- Coach Barry Mullens is excited to prepare for the upcoming FMS football season. If you did not get a chance to meet him today and pick up an informational packet, there are extras in the office. Please return the player contact form to the office and save the dates in May for Spring Football to begin! Any questions email coach.mullens@gmail.com

8th graders-FHS Cheer tryouts for the 2020-2021 school year will be April 6-9 at FHS. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on March 26th at 7pm in the FHS café. An Informational flyer is available in the office (if you did not get one at lunch today).

Fairview High PTO is sponsoring the Harlem Wizards basketball game again this year!! The date is April 5th, and the game is at 2:30. Make plans to attend and get your tickets early. Order online and come early for a meet and greet with players!

password. If you have not yet logged into Family Access, or are having
trouble remembering your login information, please contact the office at

• What if I do not have a computer at home to register? We will have a laptop
available in the office for online registration. For your child to be placed in a class next year, you must register your child online.
