The History of Fairview Middle School

Fairview Middle School is located on a beautiful ten-acre tract of land on the western edge of the city of Fairview, Tennessee and is part of the Williamson County School District. The current enrollment is around 550 for grades six through eight. FMS opened in 1981 located in the old high school building on Fairview Blvd. (HWY100) – now the Community Recreation Center. Sixth graders joined the school in the second semester of the 1981-82 school year when the high school moved into its new building. Construction was complete on the current facility in 1988, and a classroom addition was completed in 2009.

Fairview Middle School serves grades 6th – 8th in western Williamson County.  Our community school family includes Fairview ElementaryWestwood Elementary, and Fairview High.
