WE'RE BACK!

Spring Break is over.  We may be a bit sunburned, but we're excited to be back and ready to finish up second semester!  This issue of IN FOCUS has some stories we know you'll enjoy!

First up this week, take a look at the video on a huge donation made to Franklin High School's band program.  It's a wonderful story about a man whose desire to help those in need will make a huge impact on the school!  SEE IT HERE.   Also this week, be sure and check out the video on the presentation some Page High School students made to the Tennessee House Environmental Subcommittee on the dangers of water fluoridation.  SEE IT HERE.  Learn how Heritage Elementary School is working to build the skills of its young readers HERE.   Put on your running shoes for a look at Trinity Elementary School's Tigerthon HERE.  Plus, we honor three more wonderful groups of Williamson County School secretaries and bookkeepers with the Luxury Limo Lunch.  Hop on for the ride HERE.

That's not all!  CLICK HERE to read about the upcoming Shining Apple Awards that will honor Williamson County Schools' top volunteers.  CLICK HERE to read about a big honor bestowed upon a Grassland Elementary teacher!  The writing skills of one Heritage Elementary School student has earned her a big award as well!  CLICK HERE to read more!   You won't have to pay that pesky sales tax on certain school-related items towards the end of April!  CLICK HERE to learn more about an upcoming sales tax holiday!  Finally, CLICK HERE for a reminder on Open Zoned schools (deadline to register is MAY 15!), and CLICK HERE to see kindergarten registration dates for Williamson County Schools!

We hope you enjoy all we have to offer this week.  Please encourage others to SIGN UP to receive IN FOCUS!   As always, please EMAIL US with any questions or comments!
