IN THIS ISSUE...

It has been a busy couple weeks here at IN FOCUS.  We've had plenty to cover and have lots of great stories and information for you!  Once again we have lots of video this week.  Check out the ATLAS/ATHENA program for Williamson County student-athletes.  Brentwood High has set a great example with this program and other schools are quickly catching on.  It is a new beginning in Nolensville! Ground has officially been broken at the site of the new Nolensville Elementary School!  CLICK HERE for the story.  Grassland Elementary Students recently stepped back in time for Pioneer Day.  Check it out HERE.  The 2006 Career Fair is quickly approaching! CLICK HERE for the scoop!  And don't forget about the WC-TV Teacher Feature!  Find out how to nominate your favorite teacher for this award HERE.

Other stories this week include a look at plans for Williamson County Schools zoning parameters, a closer look at Williamson County's ESOL program, and some big honors for some Brentwood High School students!

You'll also want to make sure and check out our FUNDRAISER and IMPORTANT DATES section this week.  We have lots of  great opportunities for you to get out and support Williamson County Schools.  There is also some very cool ARTWORK from some Independence High School students this week.

As always, please encourage people to sign up to receive IN FOCUS!  And if you haven't signed up yet, you can do so HERE.  Once signed up, you'll receive an email every other Thursday with links to that issue's stories.  Please feel free to EMAIL US with any comments or questions you may have!
