School is out and summer break is in full effect, but here at IN FOCUS we'll continue to keep you caught up on all the things happening throughout the district.  In this issue, we'll take you to Ravenwood High School for a unique competition among fashion design students called RAVENWOOD RUNWAY.  Plus, students at Fairview High School marked the end of the semester with their annual FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS celebration.

Some of the other stories you'll find in this issue of IN FOCUS include details regarding new LEADERSHIP CHANGES at Centennial High School and the latest installment to our FISCAL FACTS section, where we answer your questions regarding the budget.  Plus, we'll tell you which Williamson County teams won state titles at this year's SPRING FLING and we'll explain how Ravenwood High School seniors recently teamed up with the MAKE-A-WISH Foundation to make a young boy's dream come true.

Nearly four dozen students were recognized this month for first place finishes in state or national competitions.  You can check them out in our STUDENT SPOTLIGHT section.  Plus, we've added some new snapshots to the PHOTO GALLERY, including pictures from Woodland Middle and Scales Elementary.  And construction continues at the district's four new schools, three of which will open later this summer.  For the latest news on the state of construction at each school, be sure to check out our CONSTRUCTION UPDATE.

As always, we hope you enjoy all this issue of IN FOCUS has to offer.  Please encourage others to sign up for IN FOCUS so they can keep on top of what's going on inside Williamson County Schools.  All they need to do is send us an EMAIL letting us know they'd like to begin receiving IN FOCUS.  The next issue will come out June 24.
