We have several new videos for you to enjoy this week.  In the first one, we'll take you to Franklin High School where police recently unveiled a new tool for FIGHTING CRIME.  Plus, students at Heritage Middle School team with representatives from General Motors to build motorized TOY CARS.  And fourth graders at Longview learn all about electricity while preparing for an annual event called the TOUR OF HOMES.  If that's not enough, be sure to check out all the spring sports season has to offer in the WCS SPORTS REPORT

One of NASCAR's biggest stars recently paid a visit to Centennial High School.  Find out why the one-and-only KASEY KAHNE spoke to students there.  Also, a local educator explains how her passion for teaching helped her win a very IMPORTANT AWARD.  Some of the other stories you'll find in this issue of IN FOCUS include information regarding construction at the site of HOMESTEAD MIDDLE School, a list of winners at this year's Williamson County FILM FESTIVAL and details pertaining to a recent JOB OPENING.

There are a number of school plays and musicals that will take place in the coming weeks including Page High School's production of Grease and Ravenwood's production of Footloose.  Be sure and check out our MUSIC/THEATRE section for all the details.  Plus, the PHOTO GALLERY features dozens of snapshots from across the district.  And we have several new entries in our STUDENT SPOTLIGHT and TEACHER FEATURE sections, so you'll want to check them out as well.

We hope you enjoy all this issue of IN FOCUS has to offer.  Please encourage folks to SIGN UP if they haven't done so, and feel free to EMAIL US with any questions or comments.  The next issue of IN FOCUS will come out April 16.
