Now that Spring Break is over, it's back to business as usual.  This is always an active time of year for Williamson County Schools.  Whether it's prom, ACT exams or team sports, it seems everyone is staying busy.  In this issue of IN FOCUS you'll find plenty of stories including a look at how some students are preparing for the TCAP exam with a fun game called FLASHBACK FRIDAYS.  Plus, we'll show you why more and more elementary schools are looking to teach students all about the sport of ARCHERY.
Some of the other stories you'll find in this issue of IN FOCUS include new information regarding the search for a DIRECTOR OF SCHOOLS and a preview of this year's SHINING APPLE awards ceremony which honors Williamson County School's top volunteers.  Plus, we'll explain how the district is SAVING THOUSANDS of dollars by following a few simple rules.  And dozens of WCS employees will be eligible for TENURE after the school year.  Find out which educators are set to receive this special honor.
Also in this issue, we'll run through a list of Williamson County students and teachers who are getting recognized for all the right reasons in a new section called AWARDS & ACCOLADES.  And be sure to check out several snapshots from schools across the district in our PHOTO GALLERY.  Plus, find out how you can attend a free art show and concert at Franklin High School by checking out our MUSIC/THEATRE section.
We hope you enjoy all this issue of IN FOCUS has to offer.  Please encourage folks to SIGN UP if they haven't done so, and feel free to EMAIL US with any questions or comments.  The next issue of IN FOCUS will come out April 29.
