A parent group that provides support to families of children with special needs will host two upcoming community meetings.
The organization is called wcsLink, and it is an effort between parents and WCS Student Support Services to create a strong partnership between parents and our schools.
Coffee with Carol
Friday, February 19
9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Fairview Recreation Center
Parents and community members are invited to join WCS Student Support Services Director Carol Hendlmyer for an informal question and answer session. The focus for this event is on general questions about special education rather than individual issues for a student. Great coffee and conversation is always available.
Community Meeting with Dr. Looney

Franklin High Media Center
wcsLink is sponsoring a community question and answer session with WCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney at Franklin High in the media center on Tuesday, March 1 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The target audience includes parents of students with disabilities and parents of students identified as gifted. Dr. Looney will talk informally with families in a Q & A format.
