Fairview High actors and performers will soon have their own space to showcase their talents. A new performing arts center should open at the high school by January of 2017. Students and staff will begin to notice construction of the new facility in late spring.
“The facility takes almost a year to build,” said Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney. “We know that it will open by the second semester of the 2016-17 school year, and my goal is to hold a ribbon cutting even before that time.”
The performing arts center will be similar to ones recently built for Brentwood and Centennial high schools.
