Spending the week in school during the summer doesn’t have to be boring, and Nolensville Elementary made the most of the time by hosting Encore Camp from June 5-9.
Students explored the world using Google Maps, tie-dyed their own shirts and recreated popular game shows. On Friday, they showed their parents what they learned and did throughout the week with a presentation.
“Each class had fantastic teachers who encouraged the students to be creative and use their imagination, all while learning something in the process,” said NES literacy coach BethAnn Jones. “We had so much fun, and the students enjoyed being with their friends and making new friends as well.”
