Williamson County high school cheerleaders are earning top state honors and being named All-State cheerleaders by the Tennessee Cheerleading Coaches Association (TCCA).

Coaches from across the state nominate senior cheerleaders who succeed not only on the court or field, but in the classroom and the community as well. Only 20 cheerleaders were selected for the All-State cheerleading squad, and WCS has more than any other district.

This year, seven WCS high school students earned a place on the squad: Brentwood High’s Hannah Hohn and Madison Cunningham; Franklin High’s Megan Wampold; and Ravenwood High’s Sydney Dagostino, Bri Fick, Lindsey Siebe and Megan Zaves.

Each student will receive a medal at the 2018 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Cheerleading Championship and have the opportunity to become the Cheerleader of the Year.
