Scales Elementary School stayed open late on October 11 to welcome the grandparents, parents and special friends of their students during Grandparents Night.
The students had plenty to do with their families and friends. They could stop by their classrooms and do fun activities; take a look around the Book Fair or enjoy some snacks and entertainment from the fourth and fifth grade chorus in the cafeteria.
“The kids love getting to show off their classrooms,” PTO co-chair Elisa Romans said. “They made a gratitude tree to show why they’re grateful for their grandparents or special friends. Tonight they get to show them the projects.”
