There are quite a few construction projects going on around the district, so it’s time to take a look at how things are progressing.
Brentwood High STEM Building
The Brentwood High Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) building just had energy recovery units (ERV) installed on the roof. Electric panels and a transformer have been installed on the first floor.
Once completed, the three-story building will offer additional classrooms for STEM studies at Brentwood High.
Page Middle School
Page Middle School’s planned addition of a three-story classroom building is continuing construction.
Work on the building’s exterior concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls at the Page Middle addition have begun. The concrete walls for the elevator pit are also being built. Underground plumbing rough-in has started.
Page High School
Page High’s new access road is ready for base stone, and the rubber base for the new track is 95 percent complete. The new access road will help reduce traffic congestion on Arno Road.
Scales Elementary School
Scales Elementary is getting 10 new classrooms as well as additional administrative support spaces and renovations to the existing building. Bar joists are currently being installed over the new addition’s classrooms and corridors.
