After accepting an invitation to perform in Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in March, the Nolensville Band is on a mission to raise money to fund the trip.
On December 14, the band is hosting a Rockathon. The band will set up in the auxiliary gym at Nolensville High and rock all night long, collecting pledges for each hour they play.
From 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., fans are invited to attend an open house and see the band perform first-hand.
“We are incredibly proud of the growth and progress of our Nolensville Band students from the program’s small start just two years ago,” said Nolensville High Band Director Benjamin Easley. “We are honored to accept this opportunity to travel and perform so all of our student members, especially our first senior class, may enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
