A kindergarten class at Walnut Grove Elementary had a star-studded roster May 3.

As part of their biography project, students picked a famous Tennessean to research. They dressed up as their historical figure to be interviewed in front of the class.

Some of the notable attendees were Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Justin Timberlake and Reggie White.

“We’ve been learning about famous Tennesseans and what they’ve done to serve our state,” said WGES kindergarten teacher Crissa Lewis. “The students shared with everyone what they did to become famous and why they’re important.”
