Sunset Elementary’s Encore Camp encourages students to break their routines and learn something new.
This year’s camp was held July 8-12, giving campers the opportunity to explore a wide range of classes. Throughout the week, students created spray paint galaxies, played basketball and made potions.
“Encore Camp is an opportunity for students to come back during the summer and experience new activities,” said SSES Encore Camp co-director Kristen Ramirez. “The teachers have a lot of fun with it, too, because the classes are things they enjoy.”
