Clovercroft Elementary School is proud to name fifth grader Ken Le as its Academic All-Star for the 2019-20 school year.

Teachers say Ken was chosen for his kindness, determination and perseverance.

“Ken is an extremely hard worker,” said his teachers. “He has improved so much since the beginning of the year, and he takes ownership of his work. He is a joy to have in class, and we are proud to name him our Academic All-Star.”

This is Ken’s second year at Clovercroft. When he and his family first moved to Franklin, he was nervous about starting a new school, but he now says he’s happy they made the choice.

“I like it here,” said Ken. “The teachers are really kind, and they know how to help if I’m having trouble.”

Ken says his favorite thing about Clovercroft is all the work he gets to do.

“I like math, reading and science,” said Ken. “It has been fun to do it all, but math is my favorite.”

Outside of school, Ken enjoys playing soccer at home, spending time with his family and going to work with his dad.

Looking ahead, Ken says he’ll stay focused on doing his best in school.

“School is very important,” said Ken. “The more I challenge myself, the more I’ll know.”
