Ravenwood High to Honor Athletes at Hall of Fame Ceremony

It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to be a good athlete, and Ravenwood High is making sure those efforts are recognized by hosting a Hall of Fame induction celebration on May 5. The school is inviting all current and former athletes to celebrate this year's nominees for the 2017-18 Ravenwood Athletic Hall of Fame. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. inside the Ravenwood High Performing Arts Center. The honorees this year are Dylan Williams, Coach Tracey Berry, Daniel Becker and Michael Ayers.

Attention all rising sixth through ninth grade orchestra enthusiasts. Don't miss the chance to sign up for Williamson County School's annual Summer Orchestra Camp. This year's camp will take place at Nolensville High School from June 18-22. It will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, and it's open to students who have prior orchestra experience. The registration window for the 2018 summer Girls TEC Camp is almost closed. May 4 is the final day to claim a spot. Girls TEC Camp will run from June 4-8 and is open to girls who are entering eighth grade. The camp focuses on letting girls experience nontraditional career fields like marketing, engineering, architecture and more. The camp will be held at Centennial High and led by CHS Drafting Teacher Tim Sawyer and WCS College, Career and Technical Education Career Counselor Rebecca Collins. Celebrate the Arts at Page High

Whether your interest is in theatre, dance, visual arts or music, there's something for everyone at Page High School's Celebration of the Arts event. The event, which takes place on May 3, starts at 6:15 p.m. with visual art displays in the PHS lobby and auditorium. Performances will begin at 7 p.m. and include acting, singing, dancing and a fashion show. Admission is $5 per person.

Don’t Miss Page High’s Superhero Saturday

Superheroes never give up, and neither do the students of Page High School's theatre group when it comes to Superhero Saturday. After two cancellations due to unfortunate circumstances, be prepared to finally break out the super-powered alter egos and take them to Arno Road on Saturday, April 28. The event lasts from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per child. Adults get in for free. 2018 Orchestra String Fling Uses the Force

The Force is with the students performing in the 2018 Orchestra String Fling this year. On Friday, May 4, middle and high school orchestra students from 15 Williamson County schools will merge together for an out-of-this-world performance. The String Fling will begin at 7 p.m. at Nolensville High School. Adults have to pay a gate fee of $5 to get in, but anyone under 18 years old gets free entrance. If your child dreams of stepping onto the court and serving a perfect ace, the Centennial High volleyball team is here to help. From June 4-8, the team is hosting the Centennial Cougar Volleyball Camp. Open to rising kindergarten through eighth grade students, the camp aims to set a foundation of fundamental skills to be used later on. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. until noon each day. If your child is interested in learning the ins and outs of wrestling, Franklin High School has a great opportunity for them. From May 31 through June 2, the Franklin High School wrestling team will host its annual camp at the school.
