Ravenwood High School's Best Buddies and Special Olympics programs are hosting the Color Dash on April 28. The 1.5-mile run starts at 9:30 a.m. and is directly followed by a celebratory Color Party. See the classic fairy tales onstage in Sunset Middle School's adaptation of Into the Woods Jr. The woods can be a scary place, and these classic storybook characters get right into the thick of things as they try to make it through. There are two performances: one each on April 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets for adults cost $7 each, and student tickets cost $5. Concessions will be available before the performance. The show will take place in the Sunset Middle gym, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Registration for Summit High School's annual Science Week is now open. It's a chance for rising third through eighth grade students to do their best Bill Nye impressions and perform hands-on experiments on topics ranging from space to geography and everything in between. The 2018 Nashville Golf Open (NGO) will be held May 24-27 at the Nashville Golf & Athletic Club in Brentwood, and online ticket sales will benefit WCS middle and high schools. The NGO is one of 25 professional golf tournaments on the Web.com Tour, which features future stars of the PGA Tour. The March edition of Lunch with the Leadership will begin at noon and last approximately 30 minutes.
