Walnut Grove Elementary Celebrates Olympics

Fifth-grade students at Walnut Grove Elementary put their athletic prowess to the test by celebrating the opening of the 2018 Winter Olympics. The six classes chose countries to represent through the competition based on countries they had been studying. The student representatives of Croatia, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Germany and Colombia made their way to the gym Friday afternoon and were greeted with an obstacle course of cones. Brentwood Middle Promotes Cancer Awareness

Throughout the week, Brentwood Middle School has been acknowledging its annual Cancer Awareness Week. The highlight of the week was the Student Government Association's (SGA) tailgate followed by basketball games from all four BMS teams. The night of excitement started in the cafeteria with pizza, matching shirts and a banner dedicated to those who had been affected by cancer.
