Longview Activities

Longview Elementary School provides many opportunities outside of school for our students. Whether you like running, singing, or leading LVES has an activity for you.

The Longview School Chorus is open to any students in 4th and 5th grade who love to sing!  Rehearsals take place in the morning before school once a week, and there will have 2 main performances during the school year.  In December there is a winter-themed concert, and in the spring the choir
will either participate in a combined choir program with other Williamson County Schools or perform a single show at Longview.  There will also be various times throughout the school year where the choir will perform for the school during our Friday assemblies. More information regarding chorus will be available Fall 2018.

The LVES Run activity  meets on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:45 AM at the track.  Parents should wait until they see Coach Frey or Coach Willmore before dropping off their child(ren).  The run activity is available for all students in grades K-5. Please contact Coach Willmore or Coach Frey for more information.

Student Council is a student advisory board consisting of fourth and fifth grade students.  Students are elected by each fourth and fifth grade homeroom as representatives to the student council.  The Student Council members organize the school Food Drive along with running and supporting the school Talent Show.

The LVES Talent Show is quickly becoming one of our school’s favorite events.  Fourth and fifth grade students have the chance to audition for a solo, group, or skit.  The talent show takes place in the Spring.
