  • Rising 6th Grade Information: Did you miss Rising 6th Grade Night? No worries! You can view the Rising 6th Grade PowerPoint Presentation Here (PDF opens in a new window).
  • Encore All Star Application: Encore All Stars are middle school students who volunteer their time to assist teachers in classes where there is a need during the MCES summer Encore program. All Stars are chosen on a 1st come 1st served basis AND based on previous Encore behavior AND current teacher referral. Students who are interested in volunteering at SSES, NES and/or MCES MUST complete this online application AND return a WCS 2017-18 Health History form to Nurse Terri Rappe or Nurse Brandi Holden at MCES no later than April 30th.   • Eyeglass Recycling: Donate eyeglasses anytime starting April 1-May 12. Drop-off locations are by the front office, library, Hub, and art room.
  • Nolensville Out of the Darkness WALK: Come out and be a part of the 1st annual Nolensville “Out of the Darkness” walk on April 22nd at the Nolensville Town Hall to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Registration starts at 2:00 and the walk begins at 3:00. Registration is free! You can use the link for more information & to join “Team Mavericks”. MCMS would like to have the largest team in attendance so please pass this along to your friends, family, and neighbors! Online Registration 
  • MCMS Football Parent Meeting: Monday, April 30th at 6 pm. Who Should Attend? Athlete and Parents/Guardians Location: MCMS Gymnasium Questions: Contact Coach A at ronald.aydelott@wcs.edu.
  • TN Ready Testing Window: April 16-20 (ELA and Social Studies) and April 23-27 (Math and Science).
  • Junie B. Jones, The Musical: Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie’s best friend Lucille has found new best friends, and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary’s class, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and she may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting! Performance dates: April 27, 28 & May 4, 5 @ 7:00 pm. Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm. Pre-sale tickets are $8.00 and tickets at the door are $10.00. Order online HERE (link opens in a new window).
