Pearre Creek Media Center’s mission is to prepare each child for success by providing access to the necessary educational, instructional, and recreational resources. Our collection has over 14,500 titles.  We have books, ebooks, audiobooks,  and other teaching materials for circulation.

Monday-Friday:  8:45—11:45 and 12:30-3:00

The library is closed for lunch and planning from 11:45-12:30.

Each class has a scheduled time to receive library instruction, return books, and select new ones.  Open check-out allows all students to come check out books throughout the day with their teachers’ permission.

Students in Kindergarten may check out one book at a time. Students in grades 1st-4th  may check out two books at a time. Students in 5th grade may check out up to 3 books at a time.  Students have daily access to the library and may come each day for a new book with teacher permission. There is not a fine for overdue books. However, if a student has an overdue book, checkout privileges may be denied until the book is returned.

If a library book is returned damaged or if a student notifies the librarian that the book is lost, a letter will be sent home with the student.  Please only pay damaged/lost fines with a check made out to PCES.
