Innovation Hub
Project Description:
Williamson County Schools was awarded a grant from the State of Tennessee through the Innovative School Models Grant in 2024. WCS will use the grant to construct a new Innovative Hub to house students from all ten WCS high schools. The Hub will have College, Career, and Technical Education (CCTE) programs not currently offered in any of our schools. Initial programs will include Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism, Heavy Machinery Technology, Electrical Power Generation, Cybersecurity and A.I., and Fire Management. Students will have access to industry certifications, collegiate hours, and internship job opportunities. These programs will lead to jobs, careers, and beyond. The Hub will arm students with a portfolio, coupled with the EIC, that will set them apart from their counterparts across the state.
