Transportation Building Addition
Project Description:
WCS will repurpose the existing Transportation Department administrative space into additional operating space for parts storage, freeing up bay space that is currently being used for storage. Additionally, a one-story, 4,600 +/- SF building will be constructed at the northwestern end of the existing Transportation Building for administrative and office space.
- Bids were opened on November 3, 2023 and a contract was awarded to Fellowship Construction, Inc.
- The Notice to Proceed with Construction was issued on February 19, 2024.
- Substantial Completion and a Certificate of Occupancy was issued on February 12, 2025 for the new building.
- Staff have moved in and begun using the new space.
- The contractor has begun renovating the existing administrative/parts storage spaces with substantial completion expected by June 2025.
