Extracurricular Activities

Scales Elementary School offers several opportunities for students in many grade levels to participate in activities with peers who share some of the same interests as they do. Students will learn more about these activities during school.

Run Team is offered in the Fall and the Spring. It takes place on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s before school from 7:55-8:25. Any student is welcome to participate. For more information, contact Chad Messmer or Jessica Herrell

Fifth graders will have the opportunity to sign up at the beginning of the school year for Safety Patrol.  Members of the Safety Patrol help to keep our car line moving in the morning and help your students out of the car if needed.  Students will sign up with their teachers and volunteer a few weeks out of the school year.

Meets one time per month before school to learn about and work on ways to help preserve our school and home environments.  Help be a part and Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Meets one time per month to learn about ways to keep our minds and bodies healthy, and to promote health and wellness activities at Scales.  Several Fun Runs held throughout the school year.
