    Ap and IB Exams have begun. Please see the  School Counseling page for testing schedules and information. All exams will be given in the gyms. Students will not be allowed in the gyms or adjacent areas during the testing window.

    Media Center Updates. Testing season is a great time for independent and choice reading. Let the media center specialists know if they can help put together a list of options for you. Narrative non-fiction, picture books, graphic novels, and short stories–these formats have come a long way in the past ten years and can enhance student learning. Grab a collection of poems or a novel in verse from the library to celebrate National Poetry Month. Teachers, consider reading aloud to your classes as well. Beautiful words can bring life to the soul. Makerspace will continue this Thursday, April 14, 2022 during lunch periods with duct tape crafts and embroidery. 

    Prom is April 23, 2022 at the Opryland Hotel, from 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM. The prom will be held in the Presidential Ballroom at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Tickets will be on sale the week of April 11 – 22, 2022 during junior/senior lunch. Cost of tickets is $60.00 per person. 

    Baccalaureate will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Christ Community Church.

    Graduation is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the stadium on campus. The rain date for graduation is Friday, May 27, 2022 at 7:00 PM. Project Graduation will be on Thursday night after graduation. 

    Chemistry Tutoring is available Tuesday through Friday from 7:00  – 7:30 AM and after school Monday – Thursday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.

    The Credit Recovery Lab is open throughout the school day and after school Monday – Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Students that have not completed credit recovery by the end of the school year will need to attend summer school in June. Summer school will begin on May 31, 2022 at 8:00 AM.

    WCS COVID Information. Students and parents should check out WCS COVID webpage for updated information about COVID-19 information from current FAQs, weekly numbers by school, links to statewide information and more. 

  • Checkpoint Driver Safety Classes


    To park on campus, students must have a driver’s license and attend an in-person Checkpoint Driver Safety Class. Dates for all classes are listed below.

    Students may apply for their parking pass once they complete a Checkpoint Driver Safety Class. Students who previously completed a class do not need to take it again. 

    At this time, all Spring semester classes will be in-person and will start at 6:30 in the FHS cafeteria unless it is necessary to go virtual.
