The Mill Creek Current
The Mill Creek Current is our weekly newsletter that provides information about school events, athletics, and community activities. It is distributed each week during the school year, usually on Friday evenings, to all parents/guardians included in the Mill Creek Middle School Skyward database. If you are not receiving the Current, please check your Junk or Spam email folder and make sure you have an updated email listed in Skyward.

8th Grade Promotion Video: Congratulations to all of our 2023 8th Graders! Check out our 2023 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony.
2023-2024 Pop-A-Lock Dates Announced: Join the MCMS community for our annual Pop-A-Lock night on August 2 from 4-7pm. Students will receive their class schedule, meet teachers, and parents can pay class fees all in one exciting night!
2023 Summer 6th Grade Meet and Greet Dates Announced: Rising 6th graders are invited to attend a Summer Meet and Greet on either July 25 from 9:30-noon or July 26 from 12:30-3:00pm. Students will go on a tour of the school, practice opening lockers, and make new friends for the upcoming school year! Ms. Aly Isom is the WCS Middle School Teacher of the Year: Join the MCMS community in congratulating our Theatre Director Aly Isom on representing WCS as the 2023 District Middle School Teacher of the Year! Congratulations to MCMS Theatre Students: Students from MCMS competed at the 2023 Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, and several students brought home big awards! Check out the WCS InFocus Article to learn more!
Congratulations to MCMS Fall Athletes: MCMS Girls Cross Country team finished third in the TMSAA Sectionals. The Mill Creek Girls Golf team finished 3rd place in the county championship. MCMS secured its first ever championship in football as the Mavericks defeated Thompson Station. Congratulations to all our MCMS fall sports teams!
MCMS Named a 2021-2022 Reward School: Williamson County Schools has been named an Exemplary District! Mill Creek Middle is one of a record-breaking 29 schools in the district to be named a Reward School in the 2021-22 Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) accountability report, as announced on Monday, September 12. After School Tutoring Available: Tutoring sessions are available after school for all core subjects. Check the Mill Creek Current each Friday for the most up-to-date tutoring schedule.
