Thompson’s Station Middle School PTO
The Thompson’s Station Middle School PTO is here to help enhance the educational and extracurricular experience for all students at TSMS. We want to provide a collaborative voice for parents, teachers, and students in and out of school to ensure quality school experiences. We can’t do these things without your support. You are essential to making this a reality.
By joining the PTO, you help us meet our school’s needs that are outside the scope of their budget. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board.
If I join, do I have to…
- Go to meetings?
No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings.
- Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would love the help—but volunteering is not required.
Membership is $25.00 per family. Join Now!
Treasurer – Amy Burst
The function of all SCUBA‘s (Sub Committees with a Bank Account) is to support fund-raising activities and promote Thompson’s Station Middle School.
Athletic Chair: Chad Bawcum
Athletic Treasurer: We need you!!! Contact PTO President Erica Russell if interested!
Goals: In order to complete these athletic facilities, the PTO will need to purchase four Score Boards (two outdoor for football/soccer and baseball, and two indoor for basketball/volleyball). Each scoreboard will cost approximately $10,000. In addition to the scoreboards, we need bleachers for the sports complex field, at a cost of approximately $30,000. As many of these activities are in the fall, we have accelerated them to the top of our needs list not because they out rank other things we are doing in the school, but because of timing of the need.
Fine Arts Chair: Ashlae Sympson
Fine Arts Secretary: Amber Perkins
Fine Arts Treasurer: Kelly Conceso
Goals: The TSMS PTO would like to provide additional equipment for our Fine Arts department, including but not limited to lighting, sound boards, music and theater equipment. We anticipate a need of approximately $20,000 in the Fine Arts Department.
